BODY: Identification mistake

The woman who aided Rishon Letzion bomber is not Israeli Jew as first thought. It appears that the woman arrested is a non-Jew who arrived in Israel from Ukraine several years ago and worked as a prostitute.

The prostitute and her Palestinian husband Faked an ID of an Israeli Jew who made Aliya from Russia 10 years ago.

Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people. All Jews around the world are always welcomed. This is why people that have no connection to Israel won't get a citizenship here.

States who have an open door immigration policy risk the danger of chaos. Only people who share the same ideas and ideals of the state should be let in. People who don't want to become part of their new state society will form into groups that constantly confront the state. France who have more then 5 millions Arabs is beginning to get the notion of it, other Europeans states will have the same problem in a few years. The main problem is not the social functioning but the bedding it offers for seeds of terror, check what goes in the states.

BODY: Good blogging in Jerusalem

There is an interesting correspondence between Tal G. and a reader from Texas. The questions asked are quite broad and Tal's response is comprehensive and very good. I recommend you read that.

Tal runs an excellent blog, one of my favorites. It was the first blog I've ever seen and it inspired me to start my own blog. I read it every day.

BODY: A Jewish Israeli is suspect in helping a suicide bomber

This just in: The Shabak Israel internal security service arrested an Israeli Jewish woman who drove the suicide bomber that struck in Rishon LeZion a week ago and killed two people. The Suspect came from Russia to Israel 10 years ago and she is married to a Palestinian who has been arrested as well.

The Israeli and her Palestinian husband drove the suicide bomber to the place of the attack. They also took another Palestinian, a young woman who was supposed to blow here self after the first explosion and by that killing many people from the emergency services. The Palestinian woman changed her mind and didn't explode her self.

This is very serious. I could kill that stupid Russian with my bare hands. Helping the Palestinians to slaughter innocent Jews - that is despicable.

This is the Palestinian who drove the suicide bomber, he is so ugly.

BODY: Hot

It is starting to get more and more hot and humid here in Israel. I think today was the first of those hot disgusting days that we suffer from each summer in Tel Aviv and the costal area. Its not the heat that bothers me as those the humidity - together is a killing combination.

One good thing though: summer makes it much harder for suicide bombers to infiltrate unnoticed to crowded places. During winter they usually hide their explosive belt under a coat, but in during the summer only a fool will wear a coat. It's not impossible for them to succeed now, only its much harder. Don't worry they will succeed.

BODY: Four Israelis slaughtered

4 Israelis were murdered last nigh in 2 separate terror attacks in the West Bank. 3 teenagers were slaughtered after a Palestinian terrorist burst into a yeshiva at Itamar. Two of the students were murdered while playing basketball, the third one while he was preparing to go to sleep. In an earlier attack a man was murdered when shots were fired at the car in which he was traveling south of the Ofra.

Here is what Ilana from Inner Balance writes (which I totally agree with):
"Today's news: 3 teens killed at Itamar yeshiva - If I wouldn't have mentioned it now, by noon it will probably be considered OLD NEWS. The most horrible thing about it is that it's not shocking anymore!! and maybe that's the terror's most dangerous aspect. We're not even allowed to get mad because supposedly we're a peace loving nation! The frustration is killing me. ... When is the world going to wake up to the realization that these seeds of terror will very soon ripen into global horror!? Well it's only death, that's the maximum that can happen, what can I say."

BODY: We are watching you

Israel now again has its own set of eyes to observe Iran, Iraq, Syria and other "peace loving" countries.

The "Ofeq 5" spy satellite was launched successfully yesterday. The satellite is the most sophisticated yet launched by Israel. Every other country launches its satellites eastward, the same direction as the Earth's spin, but because Israel has some nice civilized neighbors like Iraq and Iran to its east that can cause a problem. so to prevent the satellite from falling into an enemy country in case of a failure it was sent into space in a westward launch, counter to the Earth's spin. This westward launch requires a stronger rocket than one fired with Earth's rotation.

I'm sure our good cousins the Arabs were delighted to get another example of Israel technological superiority. The first Israeli satellite was launched 14 years ago and since then several civilian and military satellites were launched.

BODY: Nine miles

Two weeks ago I tried to describe how small Israel is, what makes the situation very difficult. The distance between some Palestinians cities to Israeli cities is only 9 miles. I got this illustration via my good friend Nimrod Levin, take a look:

Yep that's right. The distance between Netanya and Tulkarem is 9 miles, the same as the distance between La Guardia and JFK airports in New York.

BODY: Grandmother and her baby granddaughter killed in yet another suicide bombing

It was quiet for a few days and I had the chance to write about things other then terror attacks. The repose has ended. A suicide bomber blew himself in a commercial center in Petah Tikva (near my home town - Hod Hasharon). Two people were killed, a woman and an 18 month toddler. Dozens of people were injured.

Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the military wing of Arafat's Fatah movement. The fact that it was Arafat's people who did it didn't prevent the Palestinian Authority to issue a condemnation. That condemnation is ridicules!

It's like the Republican party in the states had a military wing that carried out a suicide bombing and later on president Bush would condemn it.

So that is the Palestinian trick: perpetrate a terror attack and then condemn it. As ridicules as it is the European Union actually falls for that pathetic Palestinian maneuver.

Update: The 2 dead are a 70 year old grandmother and her 18 month old granddaughter who were enjoying an ice cream. 31 people were injured, 7 of them are children.

BODY: World Cup

Soccer World Cup tournament is about to begin in a few days. Again Israel national team failed to qualify, our soccer skills are poor.

A recent poll asked Israelis which team would they like to see winning the world cup and which team they wouldn't like to win the tournament. Brazil was the most popular with 14%. Usually its the Dutch team who gets to be first in such polls, They play beautifully and Holland is considered to be a good friend of Israel, but the Dutch didn't qualify this time. In second place came Argentina and in third place - surprise: USA! That pick shows how much Israelis love Americans, to be chosen in third place with such a weak soccer team? its only because we love America.

No surprise though in the list of teams whom Israelis wouldn't like to see win the world cup: Saudi Arabia, France and Germany.

Shasa Castel posted her "100% biased guide to the World Cup groups" wich I tend to agree with large parts of it.

BODY: World media attention is deflected in recent days from the middle east towards India and Pakistan. I don't think that the two will use their nuclear weapons as people fear, anyway that's not what I discuss.

There is a slight resemblance between the conflict in Israel andthe conflict in Kashmir. Pakistan wants to annex Kashmir, I don't know if their claim is justified or not (I don't know all the facts). What I do know is that Pakistan is using terror to achieve its goal. Terrorists that come from Pakistan attack inside India. The Pakistanis are playing dumb: "we do not control those groups" they say, Bullshit. A nuclear power can't stop light armed terror groups? Pakistan, like many other Muslim states, use terror to achieve goals through bloodshed and without being blamed for that.

The same goes with the Palestinian authority that throughout its 9 years reign in Gaza and the West Bank didn't disarmed the terror organizations. Arafat used them in the past and today to hurt Israel without being blamed for that (the Europeans still buy that crap).

Syria is another state who use terror. The Syrians tried several times to annihilate Israel and were defeated time after time. They learned their lesson no to mess with the IDF, but they did find a clever way to hurt Israel and still avoid Israeli retaliation. Syria controls Lebanon for more then 20 years now, they enable terror organizations to attack Israel from Lebanon. That way the Syrians can deny its their responsibility.

President Bush promised to take care of those terror organization and terror regimes, I hope he will.

BODY: Visit Israel

Randy from Life after Cal is coming to Israel tomorrow. Coming to Israel at this difficult time is the strongest way of showing support. I appreciate Randy for making this trip. I'm sure some people think he is crazy to risk himself, I do not share this view. Randy and I intend to hold a bloggers summit In Tel Aviv.

Israel economy is deteriorating, one of the reasons is the on going war against the Palestinians. Needless to say that tourists are an endangered species in Israel. The tourist industry is barely alive, every visitor is vital for the survival of numerous hotels and restaurants.

So I encourage to you to visit Israel, do not delay your visit to more peaceful days. Your visit is essential now! Think about the thrill bonus: next time that someone will brag that he bungy jumped/ skydived/ dived with sharks/ etc you can tell him to cool off. Ask him: have you been to Israel yet?
