BODY: Take a look at these photos

15/01/1997 The Erez checkpoint in Gaza Strip – Shaul Mofaz (then only a major general) Shakes hands with Yasser Arafat after the initialing of the Hebron withdrawal agreement.

Take a look on the man to the right of Arafat (in the photo above), the one with the tie. I don’t know what his exact position in the PA but it look s he is some kind of a very personal consultant to Arafat. This man appears in almost every photo of Arafat (except for ceremonies and inside the Mukata) for years now.

And this photo is for those of you who wondered what’s underneath Arafat’s kaffiyah. It’s an old photo from 1995. Who would have thought he can look even uglier?

BODY: Levivot recipe

Okay I know I’m a bit late with that but if you want you can still make them for the 8th candle tomorrow.

Traditional Levivot (Latkes)

- 3 grated potatoes (drain out the fluids).
- 5 spoons of self-raising flour.
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Black pepper.
- Fried chopped onion.
- 2 eggs.

Mix it all together and use a frying pan and a lot of oil to fry it. Take it out when it begins to "burn" (become slightly black).

BODY: Star Wars – The Israeli version

I’m not sure I agree with the casting but it’s rather funny I think. And still on the same subject check this well-done poster for the next Star Wars episode with an Iraqi flavor (link via Shark Blog)

BODY: A song for Hanukkah

Blogging will be light in the coming days due to lack of time and creativity. In the meanwhile if you already sang the traditional Hanukkah songs and you are looking for new songs to be sang in the next 5 candles – Try Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah song.

And for the Sufganiyot eaters just wanted to make sure you know each Sufganiya is around 400 calories. Bete’avon.
