Final account of the shooting terror attack in Hebron
12 dead: Two IDF officers, includin Judea/Hebron regimental commander Colonel Dror Weinberg, a Border police officer, two soldiers, four Border Police troops and three civilians members of the alert team from the Jewish neighborhood in Hebron.
15 wounded: 1 in critical condition, 3 in serious condition, three moderately injuried and the rest lightly hurt.
The 3 Islamic Jihad Palestinian terrorists were killed.

Heavy fire in Hebron, Israeli colonel dead
According to reports at least 11 and up to 14 people were killed and 20 were wounded in a Palestinian attack on a group of worshippers and IDF soldiers accompanying them near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron. Some reports say that Hebron’s IDF regimental commander was killed.
Heavy fire continues in Hebron and Israeli channel 1 and channel 2 switched to live news coverage.
11 people dead, one of them is an IDF colonel - this is going to generate a very harsh Israeli response. About a month ago the IDF pulled from most parts of Hebron after the city was quiet for a while. I guess the Palestinians in Hebron didn’t like having a normal life again and they wanted the IDF to put his boot on their throats again. Stupid stupid people! They are going to pay dearly for this vile attack.

JP: “The primary suspect sought in the terrorist attack at Kibbutz Metzer has been identified as Fatah Tanzim member Sirhan Sirhan, from the Tulkarm refugee camp.”
Does the name ring a bell? The filthy Sirhan Sirhan who murdered 5 people in kibbutz Metzer is from the same family as Sirhan Bishara Sirhan who assassinated US Senator Robert F. (Bobby) Kennedy in 1968.

The Labor leadership race
I just finished watching the television debate between the three candidates in the Labor leadership race, Ben Eliezer, Ramon and Mitzna. To sum it up in one word: Pathetic.
Binyamin Ben Eliezer - The most pathetic of them all. Some people call him a “political mishap”. The man never dreamt to head the Labor and to be Israel’s defense minister. He really got there by mistake.
Haim Ramon – Last in every possible poll tried to bite Ben Eliezer and Mitzna every damn second, really a pity performance by him, he kept whining all along the debate.
Amram Mitzna – Gave a good performance, didn’t stoop to the petty level of Ramon and Ben Eliezer. The only Problem is that the man is willing to negotiate with Arafat right now. Hello! Where the hell was he in the last few years?

Is this normal?
Tonight while driving back home from Uni on the number 5 highway towards East I noticed a bright light in the sky. Was it a full moon? No, It was actually two illumination bombs slowly gliding down to earth. A quick look around revealed another 4 illumination bombs gliding down shining in the dark sky.
It was no military practice. The bombs were shot over the Green Line a few kilometers from Kfar Saba in search of terrorists. Later the high security alert was reduced. This immediate alert is over but according to the Shabak there are 41 plans by terror cells to carry out attacks in the near future. Fun, fun, fun!!!
Would you call that Normal? Did you ever drove back home and saw illumination bombs lightning the sky during a pursuit after possible terrorist infiltration?

As usual
I’ve thought and thought what to write and came with nothing new. What is going to happen is very clear. Israel must retaliate to this atrocious murder and it will. The army will go back in for the zillion’s time to Nablus and maybe to Tulkarem as well. After a few weeks every Palestinian that had something to do with the Metzer slaughtering will be either caught or dead. In the meanwhile the lives of the stupid Palestinian, who sponsor their terror groups, will be grinded down to the unbearable conditions, which they seem to like making the IDF go back in time after time.
Nothing dramatic is going to happen, all part of our daily routine.

Time to investigate Palestinian war crimes
Ribbity Frog is asking people to call up the UN High Commission for Human Rights and demand that they send a commission of enquiry to investigate the murder of Israeli children by Palestinians, and of the support for these murders by the Palestinian leadership (the al-Aqsa brigades have taken responsibility for last night's attack in Metzer).
